New Jetta on the way - and less $$$

Here it is - looks more like a VW than the last model, which I kept mistaking for a Corrolla:

I agree. I really like the styling of my 2001, and haven't been too fussy about the looks of any of the later models. Maybe this new model will grow on me once I see some in person.

Thumbs up Jetta TDI's

My friend is general manager of a VW dealer. The 2010+ TDI's despite increased complexity, are the most well built and least troublesome Jettas he's ever stocked. I drove a 2010 Jetta TDI and would have it in the driveway if it weren't for Der Fuhrer(wife). I drove a 2004 in the past and this new series kills it. He's finally able to secure a decent supply of Sportwagens. They come in,they go out immediately. The one he can't sell is the Toureg TDI. People just aren't going to spend that much in this economy.

I drove my buddy's Toureg TDI the other day home from the bar. It's a nice SUV and he said it gets great mpg. Plenty of pep.

Personally glad we bought the 09 and didn't wait like we originally wanted to for a new look to come out. Not a big fan. Still nice looking though.

I just picked up a 2010 SportWagen for the wife's b-day, and we love this car! we're getting 42ish MPG, and it has planty of pep.

I will throw a new tune in it once the warranty is up. It was a hard car to find, they sure are selling well!
