New GMC Commercail
#20
Still like the GMC "Classic" body style.
I miss the old '94 crew cab dually I sold this year. It was a gasser, but in '94 when it was new it would outrun any (stock) diesel powered pickup, uphill and down.
It would also beat everyone to the pumps. Although an excellent hauler, the 454 TBI with NV4500 and 4:10 rears was a thirsty beast when you had over 12K lbs behind it. I sold it with over 200K miles on it to another farmer in the next county. He regularly uses it to haul back new trailers from east Texas (Bragg built) to a dealer in Granbury. Says it was the best $3750 he ever spent. The ride was excellent, the cab spacious, and the fit and finish was still enviable.
Of course, both of our Dodges will out-haul that truck with todays technology, and deliver better fuel economy to boot.
I still think that it was a good truck. Maybe I shoulda' just put a p-pumped 12V in it?
