A NEW Dodge truck??
I was driving west on Sahara Blvd from Decatur today at 11:30AM. Then at a light at Rainbow Blvd I saw in a lane to my right a large Dodge truck. A big shiny long bed Quadcab black beauty with big dual wheels and an enblem on the driver's door...it said RAM5500. I looked again to be sure I read it right : RAM5500. It did say that. A RAM fiftyfivehundred!! It looked like all one piece and not a kluge someone put together, but I don't know. Has any one else in Las Vegas seen that truck or know who owns it? It is a very good patch job with the numbers? I was on the wrong lane and it turned off Sahara somewhere around Buffalo Blvd to the north. I wish I had my camera with me. Darn!

I live 5 minutes from the Mexican border,
those ram 4000's are common BUT i guarandamntee you, not even a man with powers from the supernatural can legally get a diesel as a registered vehicle in Mexico..... you will not find a mexican made diesel vehicle (IE one ton or less) I have yet to see a ram 4000 diesel, I have seen only one powerstroke diesel with american plates cross into mexico, YET as close as he has it registered is his Sooner Gooseneck with mexican and texas plates, and this "owner" owns a mexican fleet of 250 (thats right) 18 wheelers and 3 bodegas, (whatcha call em, um oh yeah warehouses). Guy chunks out 15-20K CASH for ropin horses, shame that he cant really rope, but with all that money and power in mexico, does he really need to? You will see Kenworths "KenMex" and if im not mistaken they are powered mainly by detroits... or run on propane or some alternative fuel... But mexican gasoline is HORRID!! i tell you from experience, so i can just imagine the diesel.. Oh and be lucky, down there gas is 2.75 a gallon, i was their with my grampa today... Good lord!!

Yesterday I saw a black long bed quad cab....dually. It past me going the other way..(tropicana and industrial area)..I did not see the emblems, but it appeared lifted and had something in he area of 35's on it. It looked large and nice. To bad it was to tall to tow anything.
I suspect it was the same truck and that it is a 04 with tires and lift......
