Welcome to the site!

I wouldnt be able to help you out with the turbo, but ... where did you pick it up?

all i know is the cummins 5.9 in our dodges uses a hx35!
but if you have some fuel upgrades, ytou could really use a bigger turbo, the hx40,

i thought they where supposed to have that particular number on the tag... hx35w or hx40..

hope you get help with it,

Almost,

No Cummins equipped Ram has ever come factory with a HX40 to my knowledge.

Hx40 is on a C-series 8.3L Cummins, not the baby B-series 5.9L.

hard to find out!

I found an old big turbo, (i was gonna use as a twin turbo setup) without a tag on it, and wrote HTT an email, and they told me what it is:

www.htturbo.com search for an email adress there... or a phone number! i really think they can help you out!
