WOW, amazing. Broken pelvis, that is a tough injury, broke mine in 5 places when I was 21, you lay flat on your back for a month in a hospitol bed, the skin on your feet dry up from lack of sweat since you don't wear shoes and the nurses have to put lotion on them, they get all white and scaley, every day the nurses have to change the sheets, they roll you over on your side, pure agony, unbelievable pain,,then you have to learn to walk again, first they put you on this table and strap you down, the table slowly raises until you are in the standing position,
you get dizzy, the floor looks 20 feet away, really wierd feeling.
Then you start by walking just a few steps a day with a walker, you have no leg/thigh muscles, at night your legs just ache, from only walking a few feet, every day you walk a little farther. I'm leaving out a lot of the gross and depressing details.
I don't mean to hijack this thread, just giving you an idea what this guy is going through in his recovery. He has the right attitude, he will recover.
