General Diesel Discussion Talk about general diesel engines (theory, etc.) If it's about diesel, and it doesn't fit anywhere else, then put it right in here.

A degree gives you the oppertunity to do what you want. I have a BS I don't make a lot of $$$ but the job I have gives me a lot of vacation. I am sitting on 400 hours of leave. This is by choice I have turned down jobs for 3 times as much as I make now. If I didn't have a degree those options would not be on the table. I am 32 don't love my job but I like it. I am playing a lot and have the money to do what I want. I also run a small company on the side. Later in life when I am tired of working out side I will move to something that is a little easier on me thanks to my education.

Education first, fix the truck go to school and then get yourself something better.

I just went through this but sadly with out the forethought you are putting into it. I went back to school thinking I could keep my toys (motorcycle and 2500 CTD) but ended up halfway through school selling both to make ends meet to finish school. With a bit of forethought I would have sold both to lower my overhead and gone to school and been in better financial straights now.

26 more weeks and I get back to work full time and get my toys back!!!!
