By "overpriced" they mean what people are really paying vs. the sticker price. With Ford and Chebby you'll pay a lot closer to sticker. There was a blurb about this in last month's Automobile magazine, Chrysler is about to slash sticker prices and withdraw most of the rebates (that've been in place for years).

BTW, it hurts them in head-to-head comparisons. Remember the Popular Mechanics diesel truck test last month? One of the strikes against the Dodge was that it had the highest sticker prices of the three. But we all know it would've actually been by far the least expensive of all.

(The other strike against the Dodge were the two full-page ads for ford and chebby found elsewhere in the magazine. No Dodge ad .)

 

With fuel prices at $3+, ALL BIG TRUCKS have down sales(Even Toyota Tundra, with 371 sucking horses). For that matter, most vehicles are overpriced at LIST.
Almost everyone on this site knows Dodge CTD's are the best deal going. They are priced WAY under Ford and Chevy. They have been way more reliable, especially vs. Ford.
Some people are paid to write articles. It does not mean they have a clue.
