Most mileage you have seen on a motor?

Someone on here mentioned maintenance logs. I think that is the key. Most of these million milers have taken excellent care of their trucks. A person could spend a little on good maintenance or a lot on costly repairs and down time.

A past member here, BigBlackDodge had I think a 2000. He had I think 438,000 on it when he went to a larger truck for his hotshot business. I have not heard from Joe in a while. He had the usual stuff, injection pump and whatnot but I don't think the engine was ever into.

He has the rare distinction of being banned from DTR and TDR if I recall correctly...

I've seen a 99 dodge with 480,000 miles on it, it was a fairly beat to hell truck. I've driven two work trucks one was a 97 ford PSD with 230,000 and the other was a 93 ford with a 7.3 non turbo with about 220000 and it smoked alot. But the most i have ever seen on any kind of truck was an early 90's mack CH with over 1 million miles on an unopened all original motor. It loved to smoke when it started up, i honestly can't think of a time when it didn't smoke.
