General Diesel Discussion Talk about general diesel engines (theory, etc.) If it's about diesel, and it doesn't fit anywhere else, then put it right in here.

a VGT for the Cummins would be extremely nice... except it might eliminate some of those healthy clouds off the line

Sadly, no. I wasn't allowed to drive the test truck since I tend to blow things up quick (see the destruction in my sig). It's quite possible this test truck was running a larger turbo than the released one. However, I do applaud ATS for putting together a complete kit. While it may drive away sales from the guys that like to roll their own, it helps the crowd that gets a piece of equipment without the proper supporting mods. I've driven a juiced D/A and it spooled incredibly fast.

As a side note, was SuperDiesel studded when he popped his HG at the strip this summer? I'm thinking he had stock bolts but I don't recall.

Anyways, this summer should be interesting on the pulling track. Rumor has it that there will be a street twins/large single class in some of the events around here. Then I can break my truck with people that are closer to my HP/skill level.

Skill Level, HeHe You need to compete against people in you're smoke level...then you'd always win against those stock trucks.

I WANT A 2WD PULLING CLASS I'm not kidding, I'd hook in it!

A procharger would fit nicely in the 2nd alternator location.

It's legal for the 2.8" single turbo classes and it fits under the hood.
