Mixing Synthetic and Dino Oil....

Matter of fact, from my understand, an engine can benefit from regular changes between brands of oil. Logic behind that is since the different oil mfg's use different additive packages, deposits left behind by one oil can be cleaned by another.

Like I have told my kids and customers. First priority is to make sure it has oil in it. Then what type and weight.
After all is the new synthetic oil you mix in going to stand on one side of the oil pan and say "I'm not going into the oil pump pickup with that old dino oil" What could be slicker that two non mixing oils? There is still going to be an oil film where it needs to be.
