Re:Million Mile Club

We just turned 271,000. Had to do bearings in the Getrag at 135,000, a pump at 191,000 and it needs it's 3'rd set of rear diff carrier bearings Right Now. Sounds like a Coyote howlin' on a moonlit night! I really need to replace the housing this time. I hope the rest of the truck makes it till the motor tires out. Jim

There are. This isnt the first "how many miles" thread. The last one I saw had some impressive numbers on it. Mines just broke in at 265K.

A fellow 1st Gen'er I know has about 450k on his. Hes not sure cause the odometer broke a while back.

Maybe he'll chime in soon.
I still cant believe his rig still has the origional injector pump on it...and then some...

My gpa has a 95 with 298,000. Still a long way to go though, and that truck isn't gonna make it much further. The engine might, but the truck won't..haha. Its been a company truck for his steel erection business since 95. Now its the only ctd in a fleet of powerjokes, but the truck is pretty much shot from so many people driving it. The cummins still fires right up though

I got 234,000 on mine! It will take a long time to get 1 million on her. I will drive her everyday until i can afford a nice 3rd gen set up the way that i want in good condition for a reasonable price. So i might get 1 million on my old goat cuz that will be a Loooong time from now!

I was noticing that too.. I don't think the 3rd gens were even available yet when this thread was started. Someone was doing some serious site skulking to find this one..
