Re:Million Mile Club
Well if I kept my old 1985 ford would have been there by now. Sold it with 600000 on the old girl. There was some one in this area who had 1990 dodge worked for a courier service, the dealer told me he had around 700000 a couple of years ago, only seen the truck once.

Re:Million Mile Club
I put a 100k on my 01 in 18 months. I average now about 3500 to 4300 miles a month. Got a friend who has over 400k on his 89 250 and has had any major engine work. I have another friend who has around 350k on his 93 350 and only has had to replace his injection pump. My current truck has 150k on it and had only 147k when I bought last month. Give me about 2 more years i might be close to the million miles

Re:Million Mile Club
i sold my 93 at 240k and the kid that bought it has been running the he11 out of it for the past 2 years. my current truck only has 130k on it. but my neighbors 2001 has 220k on it in less than a year and a half. but i have driven trucks with 600+ that were 1st gen and a 96 with 580k on it that looked great. heck they took it to the dealer auction and the truck pulled 8k. i would have never dreamed it would have pulled that much. mike

The guy with the million miles would be me. The guy I bought my truck from delivered campers around the country and said it had million miles. I've had the truck for two years with no promblems so I didn't get taken. If this guy did lie to me He would 've practically given me the truck.

Ive mentioned this before, some of you may remember. Anyway, I traded a 1982 GMC with the 6.2L Diesel in to get my Dodge CTD.
At the time I traded it (6 mo's now) the engine had 402,080 miles. It had gone through one transmision, several altenators, and a A/C unit.
But other than that, the truck ran great.
The engine/drive line was not the problem. The truck itself was falling apart.
It was a good truck to me. I hope my CTD proves to be just as reliable.

Rich.

Isn't it great just knowing you have something that you really like and enjoy driving and your going to get to do that for like 15-20 years? ;D (and not have a truck payment for 4 or 5 of those years! )

Tony

Re:Million Mile Club
On the two diesels that I own I put a grand total of 60K miles on them this year. 25k on my 94 and 35 on my 93. the 93 just rolled over 168k and my 94 has 124k. I know the 94 will reach that point but I am thinking onselling my 93 for a newer 4x4 5spd. Diesel+2x4=stuck all the time. I figured out that living on a farm and driving a 2x4 does not work out very well.
he tranny on 93 is going south I think. owell time to call BMD and order a new ATS tranny or something along those lines. that is only if I ceep it.
Aaron
