Weak on power for such a big engine but I like the idea. And it's an I6 engine at that.

looks good, but I don't expect the real deal to be anything like that besides the body.

Interesting. A little too "curvy" for me... tone it down just a little and that would be one sweet ride!

HOT. Hino + Allison in a sweet looking package. I'd rock it.

8.0 Liter? I think that and the 5 speed manual are doubtful. Probably 6 speed manual or auto and a smaller displacement with more hp and torque.

Not crazy about the looks of the dually part, but I think in a single rear wheel format, that would look pretty good. And I am liking the Hino Allison combo. I would like to see Toyota get into the diesel truck market.

The power levels are inline with what is offered in the Cummins ISC. I am guessing it would last a long time.

The handshaker looks awkward. If in fact they stay with the Hino, maybe the blue oval crowd might see a CAT one day?

Allison makes a manual tranny? News to me!

Also, why's the shifter so long? It's as high as the center of the steering wheel!!!

well, from what i have seen on the next "ram" this rig look more like a Ram than the next Ram will. That said, an 8L I6 sure sounds nice to me. where i am standing, that is what the next ram should look like
