I have a friend that is looking for an OM366LA Mercedes diesel. I figured I would ask here, and see if anyone knew of a place that would have them or what not.

I surfed a little since posting this. So far I have determined that it is a medium duty turbocharged inline 6 rated at ~215 bhp, with a displacement of approximately 5.9 liters. (That might start an interesting line of talk huh!)

Looks like it has been used primarily in bus and truck applications. Most recently it appeared under the hood of the Unimog.

Not sure why this guy is interested in one, but who knows!
