Mega Cab?

So what is the story on this truck? I am in the market for a enw truck, but if this one is coming out soon, I may have to get this one. Does anyone know an estimated price on a 6speed manual, cummins 4x4 mega cab?

Thanks
DIma

you can get them with a Cummins...

"With two class-dominating engines offered, the all-new 2006 Dodge Ram Mega Cab provides the ultimate in full-size pickup power. The 5.9-liter High-Output Cummins Turbo Diesel, available on the 2500 and standard on the 3500 model, is rated at 610 lb.-ft. of best-in-class torque and 325 horsepower. It is available with a new six-speed manual transmission or an automatic transmission. The 5.7-liter HEMI V-8, standard on the Dodge Ram Mega Cab 1500 and 2500 models, leads the crew cab segment with 345 horsepower and 375 lb.-ft. of torque, and is available with a five-speed automatic transmission. what the problem is, is that you cant get it in a long bed they only are short beds. They use the extra two feet of the frame for the cab and they arent using a new frame to do it. so untill they come up with a new frame for the truck you are stuck with the short bed mega cab.

you will only be able to get a shortbed but no duals. They are currently using the frames from the longbed QC's and putting on the shortbed giving them the extra cab room. I suspect that in the near future, they will build a new frame to accomodate a longbed in the 1500/2500/3500 and a dual wheeled option for the 3500

That's the standard transmission for the diesel models. The 48RE is optional.
