Marine pistons VS. truck pistons??

i was wondering what the difference between the cummins marine pistons and the pistons that are in our trucks is. i have heard of guys changing their pistons over to the marine ones. just wondering what advantages there are to swapping.

One reason is the spray patern is different and changing the pistons allows you to use factory 370 injectors or a varaint without affecting drivibility.
