Just remember that when your pluged in there will be a hot prong at the other socket. Don't stick your finger in there!!

Nice write up!!
I guess I will contribute..here is another mounting option...

I did mine like this cause my garage was so short I could not access the plug on the front.



BTW I like the pic with you in your coveralls and flip-flops

That looks real slick, and goes to show that you put these sockets dang near anywhere on a vehicle.
