Im tryin to see what some of the fastest manual transmission diesel in the country are running in the 1/4 mile theirs not alot of info out their on manuals but plenty on automatics.

 

banshee is running mid to high 12's with his 6 spd.

 

Fastest I've had was 14.8, but that was before the turbo. I kinda like to know too.

 

Although not a Cummins, there is a fellow near Pittsburgh, PA running low 12's with an 05 Duramax. As you noted, not too many folks drag racing with a handshaker.

 

Manuel tranny: that gentleman who works in that exotic massage parlor with a gender of questionable specification? I think he does the 1/4 mile one at a time.

never personally seen a truck lower than the 12's. lowest one i can think of is banshee

 

Jeff Prince rowed some 11.xx passes in his red/silver dually before going to an auto.

 

11.42 i believe with a 5spd launching in 3rd and only shifting twice, sure put a hurting on an 03 cobra in one of his videos

The fastest i had heard of was banshee also but an 11.xx now thats some rowin. I know at the indiana diesel nationals the fastest manual transmission truck was a 14.15 and it was around that same time for texas diesel nationals. Mine without water/meth runs a 13.8-14.1. Havent installed the water meth yet but will in a week or so, and im going to remove all but 2 leaf springs and add caltrac bars soon so hopefully ill have some lower times to post. And well be adding some headwork, twins, upgraded cp3 maybe a dual, nitrous, and glacier lift pump this summer so well be ready for diesel nationals in october. Possible 12s or lower?
