General Diesel Discussion Talk about general diesel engines (theory, etc.) If it's about diesel, and it doesn't fit anywhere else, then put it right in here.

A little help here on a decision...

So here's my dilemna, sell it, and buy something else, or keep it, and fix it up. I can't figure out what to do, but everytime I go fill it up for $80 I want to sell it. Any input is good. Also, the dually wheels make me want to sell it everytime I think about new tires.
Sold my 91 F350 Ex-cab Dually,6.9 non turbo, auto and replaced it with my DODGE.....
gas mileage went from 7mpg to 22mpg.....
average maintainance cost have dropped...
towing capability darn near doubled...what I used to be able to barely move, now I have to remind myself its back there...

I also live on a short budget, I looked at EBAY and the internet auto sales sites for about 6 months till I found one I liked in my price range...and it was worth the time and money fer sure....

A. It would be a rather easy conversion to slip a CTD into a Gremlin, if you were to do it the cop-out way by mounting everything onto a Jeep frame. People have done it before, just not with a Gremlin body... Now trying to cram the engine into the unibody would be pretty difficult, and I don't think it would be possible without using a Jeep frame anyways.

B. I have voted Republican everytime I have ever voted.
