I was driving through Kelowna this last week and noticed a diesel shop out on 97 towards Vernon, they had some steel bumpers out front and a Banks banner.I didnt catch the name of the shop .Anybody know the name? I was going to go back but Kelowna traffic was heavy!

Ya, I was just in there last week pricing out tranny work. Good guys in there, big into Banks stuff and NADP, but they also sell pretty much every performance product available. I am considering a heavy hauler tranny from them.

I dont think the town was suposed to get that big that fast.I hate the fact you have to know exactly where you are going ,otherwise that left hand turn stuff gets you.You almost have to drive up and down getting a game plan. What is up with the Powerstrokes?People must really like the service department there.

Orchard Ford is the biggest Ford truck dealer in BC. They dress em up with lifts and such to aid in the sales. I think every contractor in town has a F350 with a 6'' lift. The guys that have the other ones are self employed BC style. They seem to be a status symbol around here.

hahahha yep exactly what i was thinking.New jacked up powerstrokes outnumber cummins at least 10 to one I would think here. And like he said, every contracter has a near new lifted ford here, doesnt matter Ive beat all that have tried to race .Lots of money here due to a housing boom and "agriculture".

Ya the ford lot has some jacked up rigs. But even the 2 dodge lots had a few nice lifted mega cabs there for way better pricing and power plant then the fords.

Interesting about the traffic.
I lived in the Okanagan in Washington in the '80s and remember the thought that went though my head whenever I drove though Kelowna was this town sure has big streets and no people.

Too bad it's no longer like that...I come home to visit my folks on vacation in Penticton and won't even consider a trip to Kelowna anymore...
