Why not get a cheap filter set up and "dispose" of it in your fuel tank?

Well, I have heard of quite a few people running waste oil, you are officially the first to mention undercoating with it!

?

Waste oil is full of chemicals and acids from the combution process and not a good idea to use as rustproofing.
Besides new engine oil is cheap.
I have heard that transmission fluid is much easier on rubber parts...but then again you can probably find "oils" that are rustproof specific.
Such as "Rust Check" or "Krown"

Or you could install a waste oil heater and have free heat for the garage/workshop. I have installed quite a few of those in the past couple months.....the oil change shops seem to be using their noodles now!

Well its messy..but it is pretty effective...he actuallt uses it one the truck he drives now. We use an air powered sprayer to aply it.

Are you talking about using a brush to apply the used oil. My 8x12 sled/atv wooden deck trailer has one year old decking on it and needs to be re-coated. I was just going to get some waterproofing stain, but now???
Does the oil soak in well? I don't want oily boot bottoms after walking on the deck.
btw, where did you get the brush gaurd on the white sport in your gallery???
