Just how rare are 98 12 Valve, SWB, QC, 4x4, SLT, 5 Speed ??

I've seen several closely optioned, but not exactly like mine.

Are there any Production numbers put out anywhere ??

They are Rare to say the least.
I've been looking for a used one in decent shape at a decent price for a long time.

 

I found a 98 12v 5spd reg cab longbox bout 3 years ago, sold it to my neighbor last fall, and call me lucky but I found a 98 12v auto quadcab longbox right away, same color too, intense blue pearl! Not quite to your specs, but I was surprised to have found 2 98 12v's without too much searching and waitin!

 

Longbed versions are much more plentiful than the Shortbed versions.

Anyone have any Production numbers for these 98 12 Valvers ??????

 

Thats funny, because most of the 12v's I see for sale are quad cab short box trucks, tranny goes either way. Usually 2500's. Still waiting for see a 2wd 3500 reg cab pickup with a 12v in it.

 

Consider yourself very lucky then cause that's not the norm.

 

Bah, the truck that I want I have yet to seen. Too many of those darn CQ SB trucks!

 

If that ain't the truth. I need to get into a quad cab, and will be going with a 24 Valve just to make finding one easier.

 

brother-in-law just sold one! 5 speed.It was that dark purple color with 200,000 miles.

 

I suppose they all are 1998, (12) Valvers, 4x4, 5 speed, SLT Lariat packages, w/Leather interiors.

The point of my thread here is this.

HOW RARE is it to have ALL the above mentioned options in (1) truck ?????

Folks are pointing out they see/had/or just sold a truck with SOME of these options, but NOT ALL of the OPTIONS!

It would be great if we could somehow find PRODUCTION numbers!

 

I looked for 4 years, gave up , bought my 95 , but i am still looking over two years after buying the 95. I have yet to find a truck with all those options. I found one with an auto , but it was somewhat haggared and over priced.

 

So after (6) years of looking, you have never seen a truck with all the above mentioned options ??

Yea good luck finding one of those that has decent miles and hasnt been beat on....they are the most rare/ desirable truck, or so it seems....I have always wanted one, and I have kept my eyes and ears open for one, no luck, unless in very not desirable condition lol

 

Thats my neighbours truck. Its for sale too. Not a spot of rust on it, has about 230k km on it. If only it was for sale when I was looking for a truck.
