John Deere SKid loaders

Brand loyalty, mostly. Myself brand doesnt matter to me I prefer to try out any new equipment rather than just sticking with something because who's name is on the side. Besides skid steers are mainly tinker toys for small or limited access jobs allthough I have to say my T300 does alot more than it should for only weighing little under 12,000

I had 2 JD 250's and they were nothing but junk. I know they've changed since 2002 but they sucked! One was an electrical nightmare and the other overheated everytime you ran the A/C. Had several different places try to figure it out but sold it while it was at the dealer. They stayed broke all the time, ranging from the drive chains breaking, steel hydraulic lines rubbing together, pumps burning up and the brake coming on out of nowhere making you hit the door. I will say when it did work it was a well balanced machine as far as doing grade work. CAT's are to light in the front (236 model) Bobcat is decent, Gehl is a solid machine, Don't like New Hollands boom set-up, everyone i've ever ran was sloppy and banged around from bushings being worn out sooner than they should've, Can't stand Case's just because of the way it operates(probably a good machine). If you were getting a rubber track, Takeuchi is the way to go. I've got 2 and love them.
