Just got my dually and I am in the same situation. My g/f loves the thing. Now all she wants to do is drive and take my truck everywhere. I go to school in williamsport PA and she goes to school in york. SHE WANTS TO TRADE vehicles for a week.

Cummins tell her NO!!!! lol. I couldn't be a week without my truck,,, it's bad enough if I have to go a week without driving it when I'm working on something, but not seeing it for a whole week? That might put me over the edge,,,

Trust me she wont get it for the week. I love the thing tooo much to let it go for that long. The other thing I dont understand is that I have trouble parking it up here at school and we actually have parking spots with outlets. In York they have to parrallel park where she stays. There is no way she will be able to do that without messing something up, like say another persons car . I can see many "let me take it for a while" battles coming in the near future. Dont worry though she will never win .

I dont have to worry about this with my wife. She thinks its to big, loud, stinky ect. ect.
She doesnt even like to ride in it. Now my son on the other hand drives me wacko about it. He
has a 2004 Stratus and will drive it over and leave it just to take the truck to the store . I told him to buy one and his response was... Why should I, you already have one!

I never said it was a bad thing lol. I AM a redneck and proud of it, there's much worse things to be. She loves me just the same, but she just hates the truck, she's actually the one that gave it the nickname Tigger. That's alright with me, like I said at least I'll never have to fight to drive it

My wife doesn't normally drive ours. But she can any time she wants and has no trouble driving it. If she hurts or breaks it, oh well. It's a truck and as long as she's ok, it doesn't matter.
She has a '99 Stratus ES and though it's a great car and gets outstanding mileage, we take the Ram on long trips because of the comfort, room, and long-distance mileage.

Give me a redneck girl anyday! My wife was driving an old Ranger with a stick when I met her. I've been telling her that if she can drive that pos my Ram 6 sp is cake! She likes the truck, but is scared to drive it because it is too new and big.

TX I am with you on that one... The girls up here at college are the same way man. They all love my baby. I cant count how many times I get the ladies to look when I go by. I took these two for a ride last sunday and they loved the thing (not to mention they were real hotties). Its not worht having something that cant get looks right

In the three months of owning my '05 the wife hasn't asked to drive it once. I don't think she is interested as she loves her Cherokee- although if she tried it- you never know, I might never get her out of it. I can't drive her Cherokee as it wasn't made for people 6 foot 4 inces tall. I have to recline the seat to about half way- feel like I'm driving a low rider.

when i told my wife i was getting rid of the 3500 van we had, she told me she wanted something with a stick. so i went out and bought here a 98 12v,quad cab 5 speed short bed 2wd. she loves it, i did slid in a #10 plate and a bhaf. and replaced the muffler with a 3" straight throung glass pack. i do love that woman.

Another College boy here...except the flatbed doesn't attract too many ladies
It's probably fot the best, though. I'm here in the "Big City (Columbus, OH) and they're not my "Type"
Down home though, I get a few stares...good or bad, who cares. I like my truck, and it'll run with the best of 'em around here

I agree..
I usually have one of three in my passenger seat and yes they are hotties... I got three regulars that jump in and ask where are you taking me? (home i hope... lol!! ) but usually its just to lunch and what not.. Heck i stand 6'3 myself, so i see the comment on the cherokee, it wasnt meant for 38 inch legs... much less anything longer than that... Gunracer.. u have a dream woman, and as far as banshees signature goes.. thats a lil easier said than done at times lol!! but always well worth the effort if her figure fits in a coke bottle when shes standin 8-10 feet away.... or she floats your boat, whatever ur case maybe....
