Installing stacks in the next few days
Finally got my 6in er miter cut stacks. installing them in a few days just need some time. Just looking for any tips anyone might want to give me before i start tearin into this project. By the way they are goin on a 05 cummins. Any problems anyone else ever ran into. And people have talked about drilling a hole in the 90 degree elbow under bed for water drain Is this good wont the smoke leak from this hole or make a weird noise Let me know if i should do that and how big of hole. thanks well post pics soon

I dilled a small hole in the bottom of mind, I haven't noticed any noise from it,or smoke. When it rains there is a soot mark under it in the drive way and on the pipe from the water, I think it was an 1/8in or a little small hole.

you don't have to drill a hole IMO...ive had both setups....the setup with the elbows and Y split and the square tubing.....i prefer the square tubing quite a bit for alot reasons....but anyway that doesnt matter...line things up twice and double check ur measurements twice before you drill any holes into the box to position the stacks....i can't stand watching people roll by with crooked stacks

Like Mr. T said "measure twice cut once"
Seriously, I recently put stacks on and I definately dont regret it in the least. I love em and you probably will too. Good luck, and take pictures while doing it the entire time!
