installing gauges on a LMM need some help...

hey guys my buddy went out and bought himself a new 2500HD chevy with the LMM motor but besides the fact that he was outa his mind for gettin a chevy and not a dodge he just got a boost pyro and trans temp gauges and i was gonna help him put them in just wanted to know if any one on here has installed any gauges on the new LMM and were are they taped into doesn't look as easy as the cummins install
any help i appreciate it and pictures would be a plus also.

I have only ever done the pyro on an LB7. Its done typically through the passenger fender after pulling the plastic liner and tire out. Pretty simple to drill after that near the corner after the last cylinder port on that side. The boost would have to be tapped in the LMM intake somewhere.

I thought the GM equipped Allisons came with a tranny temp gauge. Guess they dropped it??

they still do but he wants one i guess its no longer o sweeping gauge you have to go threw your menu on the dash to get a digital reading.
