Im I glad I bought a CTD!!!!!

;D I was just reading the forums on the 6.0L ford and all I can say is WOW On this sight most forums are about modding or improvements to the truck ect ect on the ford site most comments are more like how to keep it running if you actually get it started. My GF mom hauls horses and has a 99 ford 7.3 and was thinking about getting a new 6.0 but I have her convinced to buy a new 03 Cummins. We may not have all the power they do stock but at least ours keep truckin by. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D :P

;D You got that right I will 2nd that comment. I love my truck. I feel sorry for those people that are having so much trouble with there Ford rides. So many are die hard Ford fans they say they would rather push there Ford than drive a piece of junk DODGE. Down here in the southeast part of the GREAT STATE OF TEXAS there are more Ford trucks on the used car lots than any DODGE'S for some reason. More people use DODGE trucks for hotshot and plain towing of heavy stuff than they do of Ford trucks. Some say because they are cheaper for companies to buy.I think different

We all buy our trucks for different reasons.
I have ridden in one of the new 6.0's and I really like them...
But theres just no way I could afford one.
To that, after spending that much money on a truck, I really feel for the folks that are having trouble with them.
If I were to see one on the side of the road with the hood up, you bet I'd stop and see if I could help out.
For that matter, Ford, Dodge, or GM... Im going to stop and see if I can help. Some day, it might be me on the side of the road with my hood in the air... might be you.

The new diesel trucks cost a lot of money... the new (Proud) owners should expect something that expensive to work right.

DieselDaze: I 2nd your comment about helping out other folks who have problems
I do also think that it's a pity that today there are that many faulty trucks escape QC. Think of the damage done to professional haulers etc.

GladtodrivemyCumminsAlpineRAM

Why I say that is because if you have a 6.0 SD that is working fine, you have to become weary of seeing all the constant stream of major problem reports when you just want to feel good (and maybe do a little boasting ) about that new $40,000 diesel truck you bought. Also, you are probably wondering, at least on some level, if you in fact might be next. If the ’03 HO Cummins had ongoing reports of these types of problems, I know I would be feeling at least bit worried right now.
