Well, for my RV towing application, if I were filthy rich, I'd start with the following, only I'd have B&W build an Elite-series towing bed for it:

Pretty nice rig...I wasn't just thinking rig though, I was thinking off-roader, puller...just a toy, ya know? That's what caught my eye about those Fords...just like driving one of our trucks divided by three

To tell you the truth, I am not impressed. All the truck did was drive around for a few minutes in maybe 1-2' of water. My truck could do that.

Geezzz, guess I'm cheap. I wouldn't mind having a new Mega Cab dually, 8ft bed kit, 6spd auto with a set of 19.5" wheels.

Cat diesel engine?

My cousin works at the airport servicing planes. He told me they have five International single axle tank trucks with duel rear wheels for fueling aircraft. Three have an International I-6 engine, one is equipped with a Cummins I-6 engine and one is equipped with an I-6 Cat engine. My cousin said the Cat engine is an ongoing continuous expensive problem, plus it will not start easily in cold weather and has to be plugged in all the time if the temperature is below the freezing point. The Cummins engine gives no problems, nor do any of the International engines, but he said the International engines are the easiest to start in severely cold weather without plugging them in. Our John Deere I-6 engine in the eight wheel articulating field tractor will not start if the temperature goes below 40 F and it then needs to be pugged in to aid starting. The oil pan heater and the coolant heater will not even help to start the engine if the temperature is -10 F.

Super B tain truckers that come to our farm to haul our grain to the terminal tell me the big cat engines are too expensive to purchase, cost too much to maintain and Cats are harder on fuel than the big Cummins engines. The say the big Volvo engines are the best on fuel economy, but they are too expensive to purchase. The truck operators like the reliability of the Cummins.

Freightliner single rear axle trucks are also being fitted out like the Kenworths. They are just to much truck for light hauling and not enough truck for heavy hauling. If I had unlimited money I would get one of those trucks in tandem configuration for heavy farm related jobs moving machinery and pulling super B train hopper bottom trailers. For most farm hauling on the highway I just would like to see DC get their act together and put out a 4500 and 5500 Dodge truck like Ford does with their F-450 and F-550. Ford is going to supply dealerships with a F-450 pickup in 2008 powered by the 6.4 V8 diesel. I just don't like V8 and V6 diesel engine cylinder configurations. If Ford powered the F-450 pickup with a small I-6 International engine it would be useful to me with over 6k pounds of payload. I bought an I-6 Cummins and the Dodge truck came along for the ride. I now like my Dodge very much, and I will stick with Dodge for an additional heavier truck if they produce a 4500 soon with the 7.6 Cummins.

If I had money ( ), I'd personally rather have something... Useful... For anything at all...

What are you supposed to do with that thing? Too high to pull, too big to daily drive, too clumsy to offroad, too heavy to race, too retarded to look good in...

Nope, sure don't....but if this paintjob was all that Dodge had to offer off the lot, I wouldn't have bought it either...why even make this post? Paintjobs obviously go by taste and opinion....and this doesn't even come CLOSE to what turns me on in a vehicle.
