General Diesel Discussion Talk about general diesel engines (theory, etc.) If it's about diesel, and it doesn't fit anywhere else, then put it right in here.

I wouldn't expect anything less from the media

the real question is how many of the people in this town that died of cancer smoked a pack of smokes a day?

Look at it this way; you can actually see what you are breathing and select the flavors you like best.

You can also chew your air a while and that will help keep you from gaining weight.

A nurse once told me she thought that cancer-prone rats were used to determine what was carcinogenic. That way everything is carcinogenic. Remember the rootbeer carcinogen that was removed from rootbeer? To get that amount that gave a rat cancer you had to drink a few gallons of rootbeer a day for thirty or so years. I do feel sorry for people who have a four-lane built next to their homes. That happens. Not sure how I feel about people who buy land right next to a four-lane and build a home.

"Paul has lived here with his family for nearly 20 years, and reckons truck numbers have increased "exponentially" over the last decade. About 7,000 now pass his gate every day. "

I hate him and his stupid gate

He reckons? What a thing to include in a news story. Why not just say, "We don't have any worth while data, so here's what some old man thinks".
