Hey don't forget to go to Micky Ds, Arbys as well as others and stock up on the mustard, ketchup, mayo etc..
OT, but...

Back in 93 fresh out of highschool, no money, we (Friends) decided to go to Santa Cruz for the weekend, we had gas, beer and one night of motel money.

We snuck 5 of us into a single bed motel room, the next day we went to 7-11 bought a loaf of bread, a case of beer and took a few pocketfuls of Mayo and Mustard...We drank like kings, but ate like the homeless.

Greatest weekend ever.

It actually came to 13k off sticker. 49 - 13 = 36 drive out. Still 4k under the Fewrd, even with the x-plan price I got from a friend who werks for Fewrd.

I must be getting it big time if this is correct, this would mean you all paid like 30 depending on your tax rate before taxes for a 46,000 thousand dollar truck? 16,000 off sticker ?

Right now is a VERY good time to buy a new truck. My 06 3500 MegaCab 4x4 Auto stickered for $46K and I negotiated down to $36K BEFORE incentives. I then had the choice to apply a $4000 rebate, bringing cost down to $32K + TTL, or taking 0% interest for 60months = $36K + TTL. So, yes I had the opportunty to buy my truck for $14K under MSRP. Sales managers are looking to move trucks off the light. At a VERY minimum, you shoudl be able to get $9-10K off MSRP right now. I bought my 2004.5 for $9500 off MSRP, and they didn't even have good rebates at the time.

I have found that Dodge dealers are MUCH more willing to negotiate on price than Ford or GM dealers.

I got mine for 30K. Sticker was 41600. Not quiet as good a deal as I see some others here managed but I'm satisfied and have not one regret. Had it for a couple of weeks now and I'm having a lotta of fun with it being my first diesel first new one. QC 2500 4WD '07 check it out: ( apologies for stretching the page out with a huge pic but a small one just didnt do her justice )

Begle1, the planets have aligned and the moon is in the 7th house. We actually agree.

What's nuts is paying sales taxes, then in NE I have to pay $800 a year in vehicle tax for a new truck. Now I pay $200 and this truck will beat any new Dodge.

id say get one now, cause prices are surely going to climb, when have you ever seen a drop in price in anything good, unless you buy used.

Either you want it or you don't. I costs $$$ to have NICE things. If it cost too much to buy a new one, than it's not the right time to get a new one. If you think you are getting hosed at the dealers, than buy used. In any purchase you are gonna have to weigh the cost of getting it versus what you already have. Big boy toys with big boy price tags. Thats what makes it so special when you can afford one.
