I was going to a local hardware store tonight and as I passed a local dealer there I saw a pretty patriot blue 3500 4wd. I stopped to look at it and I almost cried. It is a '98 quad cab 12 valve auto with 98,000 miles. The tires (all 6) are just about bald, the front bumper has wire holding things together, the right mirror was missing a glass, there are many many small dents all over it, and so many scratches on it that it looks like crap (up close). I never did hear it run or take it for a drive since I wasn't loking anyhow. A sales man almost ran over himself to let me look at it. I talked to him for a while and he said they wanted $16,900 for it . I told him that my '96 was worth more because it is in a lot better shape than the '98 AND HE AGREED!!! It was defineately a used truck. I think somebody drove it hard too many times. I sure was disappointed with that truck.

Drove it hard past the local golf ball driving range it sounds like!

 

Might have even been used to pull the ball collecting gizmo on that range.
