So i went to a salvage auto auction this week to find a parts truck for a project. found what i wanted. a 08 quad ram with the 6.7 manual. In almost perfect condition, body wise, it was a flooded, no title truck, the damage was so extensive to the truck the vin was killed. and the truck still brought 19300????!?!?!!!?!? I looked up the same truck and auto trader nd you can get a good one for 25k with 90k on it. Soooooo im feeling a little

somebody probably had a need for it so they paid the high price seen some rolled real bad and go for high $$$ and then see one with high miles and very little damage go cheap just depends on whats going on

Could be a case of winner's curse, or just human impulse to win at the last moment.

Usually, salvage auctions are only attended by Junkyard operators, most of them will not buy on emotion.

There are just too few Cummins trucks coming thru the auctions.....
