Talking I Got A Promotion

Y'all know about my new job as a piano player (actually I was a salesman at the local Ford Dealer but I didn't want anyone to know about that so I was telling everyone I was a piano player at _________).

Well, I got a promotion - I'm now a service writer at the same dealer. I get to see all the problems with the power strokes that come through. I'm trying to keep my mouth shut about how much better the Cummins is compared to the 'stroke, but sometimes it kinda hard to keep quiet.

As the job progresses, I'll try to keep y'all posted on some of the very common problems.

Way to go Wayne! If you worked for a Dodge dealer, you would be a very popular guy

Just park that CTD out front when you show for work! Something about actions speaking louder than words!

Congrats on the promotion!

Service Department at a Ford Dealership............now that's job security! How many Powerstroke owners screaming "lemon law" did you get to deal with today?

We usually have employee parking off to the side, but in plain view of the showroom. I usually get there early enough to get the first slot - and you can't miss the Long-Bed, Quad Cab Silver Ram sitting there amid all the new Fords.

None for the 'lemon law' yet, but I've seen some customers who were very unhappy with their 'strokes. But then again, we had a '00 Ram SB, QC, CTS 5speed we sold last Thursday. It was towed in yesterday with a dead lift pump. We sent it to the Dodge guys to fix it under warranty.

So it doesn't matter what brand you own, they are all gonna break at one time or another. Just a matter of time.
