This was posted via NUC motorsports, I've never seen it done like that, pretty cool actually!

Makes you want to go out and buy one, NOT.

Wonder how many cabs have been dropped.

I've seen pics of an Excursion getting engine work done. The whole body is in the air. Keith

This is just not an acceptable design. I said years ago that the people who design vehicles should also have to maintain them. My wife's little Saturn, you had to remove the passenger side front wheel and wheel well, just to replace the front signal light. Sadly, if I designed a vehicle it would easy to work on but it would be wider than a Kenworth even if it only had a 2L 4cyl engine.

To change the timing belt on a PT Cruiser, you need to pull the engine out. It is faster than doing what the repair manual says and removing all the front body panels and brackets to get to it.

2 hours to lift the cab, the newer trucks even less time. Personally I think it was a brilliant idea. Gives you all kinds of room to work while standing on your feet.

Ditto, way more room and you don't have to dislocate your joints to remove various pieces. It'd be nice if pickups were like semis in the sense that the hood pulled forward...
