Honda to make a diesel engine!
#16
Give me a Briggs & Stratton over a Hondoo, a Harley over a Yamahopper, a 'Vette over a Zee, a Colt over a Gluck, a Cummins over a Icksuzu, and well, y'all see where I'm comin' from, right? Call me a redneck or brand blind or anti-globalization but I live here in the USA and that's where I'll always try to give back to. As long as we keep buying they will keep laughing up their sleeves ...... all the way to the bank.
And yeah, I know Glucks aren't made in Jaypan but they were on the wrong side when it counted.

not to mention the engine is cast in Brazil. Like I've said before my girlfriends Civic is more american (made in Marysville OH) than my mexican/Brazilian/German Dodge. Which doesn't bother me but it's amazing how "Blind" some people are.

Yeah but at least the big-shots at DC are living here and not Toyoville. You're right about the German/Mexico part but it's the Churman part that chaps worse than the Mexican part. Give me a Cummins any day - The TRUE Heartbeat OF AMERICA

Hey, I never said that the Japanese didn't make good cardboard boxes AND my computer was 'Made In USA' (USA, Japan) so to heck with it. You guys have convinced me I'm trading for a Toondra tomorrow. Anybody need some gooseneck trailers cheap?

I bought my first honda accord in 1984. Since then my two brothers and mom and dad all have hondas. The best vehicle per dollar period. We wonder why so many american companies are laying off people. When we build a car as dependable as a honda, I will buy it. If Honda makes a diesel truck I would definitely take a look. America still has the big truck market. Just wish the truck wrapped around my cummins was as dependable as the honda. Timing belt and oil changes are usually good for 250k and with some minor maintenance they will go 350k plus

I drive a 1993 Accord as my beater and my dad has a 2004 Accord. I am very impressed with the cars but the dealer in No. California told my dad he had 20% left on the brakes, so I buy the parts, pull the wheels, and realize all dealers are liars. It was a lot closer to 50%.
