Question Help in Houston

I am new to the northwest Houston area. I am actually in Cypress and I am looking for a good diesel performance shop. I feel like I have a boost leak and I was wondering if I could find a shop that works on 4" exhaust.

Thanks in advance! Usta

You can't find a dealer that will look at it? I don't think I see anything that would void your warrenty. All look like improvements to me, not bombs.
Your not holding something back, are you?

No I took it to a dealer in Minnesota. They told me that I was hearing the waste gate because I have the AFE installed. I can feel the loss of power when I hear the leak and It seems like it is hard to build boost at first. Boost climbs to 32 or so and drops to around 25 or so. That might just be how a diesel runs I don't know. I would also like to find a shop to do a muffler delete. If not I will order one from Genos.

www.hotroddiesels.com - the shop is south of Houston, off of IH 45 in Texas City. Went there to have some exhaust work done. Michael is a good guy and does good work. I live NW of Houston, near Cypress, and it didn't take me too long to drive there.

I would at least run it by Northwest Dodge on 290 since it's still under warranty. May not be a boost leak but defueling. Checked the fuel filter lately?

I am getting ready for my first oil change. I only have 4500 miles on it. I use power service and MMO. I am going to change the fuel filter with my oil change that I am doing this weekend. I hear a loud hiss when the boost hits around 32 and it settles down to around 25 or so. Is that normal? I have talked about this before on the forum and I still don't feel comfortable with it and I am not all that impressed with the performance. I would just like to have an expert not a dealer drive it and tell me what they think. I was thinking about going to the Houston get together that they are planning and let the guys drive it and tell me what they think.

Does your intercooler have aluminum or plastic end caps? The plastic ones doesn't hold up very well and could be leaking at the joints. In '05 Dodge switched back to aluminum.

It is the plastic one and I wish it would blow out. Of course it will do it miles from home.
