The lyrics to the background music on that video are probably not considered 'DTR' appropriate.

The trucks are cool though. Do a search on YouTube for "Tatra" Trucks and you can find tons of vids. They make our little Cummins trucks look pretty wimpy by comparison.

Just click on edit in the lower right hand side of your post, and remove the link and type in 10 characters of something and hit "save changes". Hope that helps.

Oooops, Wow, I didn't know that it had a time limit on editing the posts. I thought we could go back and edit any of them, but it looks like it only lets us go back one day. Hopefully an admin will fix it for ya.

Those trucks are part of the former Paris-Dakar race.

It started years ago, race support crews would "race" their supply trucks to the next stage. Racing being what it is, the support crews started getting competitive. The next thing you know, the organizers started a racing class for these behemoths.

Ya, It was canceled this year because of Al Queda threats in N Africa. Terror is one thing, but when it affects racing? That's just ridiculous.
