A CXT would be nice! I saw one in person and can say they are beasts! Or like our brush truck for the fire deparment, a duece-and-a-half 6x6 with a very large Continental non-turbo diesel. Rugged but powerful. Has been known to push trees over. Just ask my chief what he said when 2 fell on either side of him in the forest reserve as he was looking for place big enough for the monster to get through...

The CXT has potential; I have just heard awful things about their comfort and I really want a motor that is either a beast in stock form or can be tweaked nicely like our 5.9s without having to spend R&D type money to get there.

I really need someone with some design skills to help me with a proper prototype photo.

Not bad, but the Top Kicks are so ugly IMO; however, I did visit their site on my search of cab modifiers and liked what I saw. After seeing that KW T300 with the 4x4 conversion it is making me want my project even more!

Most of those guys don't ride their bikes they buy them for publicity or charity which is cool. They have screwed alot of people even those who have helped them get where they are today. They do however do alot for charities and local fire dept's and they are building a huge new building that will create alot of jobs but I still would not buy a bike from them they are just too much money and not ridable. I've seen them ask over $50,000 for a $25,000 rigid made from taiwan parts that anyone could buy and put the same bike together.

Just make sure you get Mikey to build your bike.
Nothing but the best from him.

There prices on full custom bikes seem to be right on par with all of the other builders ($125K). How is there full custom stuff from what you have heard?

I found that Eaton makes a 18-speed Autoshift that will handle 700HP and 2250TQ. Anyone know if you beef up an autoshift the same way you would a regular manual since they both have a clutch, the autoshift just does all shifting itself except for starting out and stopping. I wasn't sure if the standard clutch upgrades would work for the autoshift.

$125K for a motorcycle that doesn't give you a reach around is insane. they are making alot of their own parts now but I'm sure they still cut corners and hammer and grind to get their crap together. If you go to any of the TV show bike builders they are going to hammer you. If you go to a smaller guy that doesn't think hes gods gift to the bike world (by no means am I talking about a garage mechanic) you are going to get a nicer and more ridable bike. I know an awsome builder who will build you a great custom bike if you want I can give you his info. He is a friend of a friend and I will gain nothing if you go to him except maybe a t-shirt I just hate to see anyone spend all that loot on a bike no matter who built it. PM me if you want the guys info.
