Re:Good article on New Powerstroke

How do you like that oil filter mounted upside down on top of the engine ? That's gotta be a huge mess when you change the oil... I'm not buying one!

This link will work better. Horse Trailer Online

By the way the oil filter is not a spin on. It's a canister style, you unscrew the top off it and take out the element and replace it with a new one. Kinda like the fuel filters on our trucks.

But I still ain't buyin no Furd.

DB

Looks like Ford has done a great job. Regardless of brand preference, I am amazed at the amount of engineering, tooling, and features you can get for 30 to 40 grand. What a time to be alive.

Re:Good article on New Powerstroke

Thanks DarrellB ;D for fixing the link. That's what I wanted to do but didnt know how. If you have the time send me a personal message on how to do that.

This article to me says one thing: DC better get off their butts and design an auto to withstand these CTD's or they will lose market share. The autos have sucked since the beginning What are they waiting for ???
