I looked for but never saw the forbidden word Per----.Has JCB resorted to any modern power plants besides Perkins now that Caterpillar owns most if not all of Perkins?

Come on, you could probably get better than 236 miles per hour with a highly bombed Cummins in a Pacer.

A bombed diesel in a pacer..... that would make it the worlds fastest aquarium right?

Actually the Pacer would act like a giant airplane wing at speed. It would need massive air damming to hold it down and a giant tunnel underneath.

I know, I know, buzz kill!

How about a Pantera?

how bout puttin a cummins in one of those old colts. that would be sweet.engine would prolly outweigh the car though.

I had a Colt GT with the Mitsu hemi, over reved and hit the ridge with the top ring!

I think that car would self destruct at 130 or so, cheap Japanese plastic and metal.

I had a fist gen 5 sped Neon that would go 120 up through the canyon, one of those might be an interesting choice... or a duster...
