About a year ago I posted on here about seeing a Izuzu Rodeo pulling a Ford 6.0 w/a GN cattle trailer hooked to it. At 10:00 pm in town was the Rodeo pulling a Ford w/a GN trailer! I almost had to pull over I was laughing so hard! I wish I had a camera that would have been worth big bucks!

i love to see the ford bashing on here shoes how peopel really are. i cant wait for the 6.7 to come out and see how it does. dodge is finally trying something new and what are you going to say if it falls on its face??? are you going to expect people to realize that it is new and to expect that from new tecn\hnology or are you going to be able to take the bashing that you are doing to new technology??? i wish yall had something better to do than try and make your self feel better at others expenses. and you have to understand that i would to this day take a 7.3L PowerStroke over a CTD anyday. and dont get me wrong i love my Cummins, just know that the 7.3L was the best diesel in its day and that is why they are hard to find. but i think all the newer engines arent going to last because they cant keep emissions right or pick a level to stay at more than a couple of years. just my .02 cents and im waiting to hear yall start bashing me cuz i like PSDs

We never said anything about the 7.3 psd but now the new 6.0 is jus pathetic.. Dont get me wrong if i were to buy a dmax or a ford it would be the 7.3 but the ctd is jus the best choice at the moment.. I jus figure its funny how these fords go out and how people are getting rid of the new 6.0's... We aint bashin were jus saying funny stories like i garranty on sum ford site an dmax site they bash the ctd's too.. dont take it the wrong way man..

im not bashing, i am just saying its funny my dad blew a head gasket . ive had my experience, in my 02 F250 i blew the engine, 2 tubos, 2 tranys and a hundered or so high pressure o rings some were in the oil line , i would have an oil leak once a weak, in my 04 F350 i had i also blew the engine, everyone in my family has some sort of problems with their 6.0. they just keep buying them becuase my dad is friend with all the guys at the dealer ship. they get good prices and dont have to wait to get warranty work,as for me ive learned from experience. And ill agree with you about the 7.3 being a good motor i liked it, they never should have changed.

6Lpowerstroke, we are not bashing the owners (at least not the ones that learned their lesson) we are bashing Ford for using there loyal owners as a testing ground. Now the people that have had 3 or 4 buy backs and keep getting Fords hoping the next one will be better well they deserve what they get.

And im not trying to say the 6.0L sucks or rules. the ones ive been around must be the exceptions i guess. they really havent had motor problems. and yes today there is no way i would buy one of these newer fords or chevy's. i wouldnt really buy a dodge either only because i couldnt justify 45000 on a truck. i think you could get a 1st or 2nd gen engine and put it in to whatever you want with that kind of money. and im glad to see its not the drivers your bashing its just ford. id it to all of them too and i drive a **** rock. but i htink it wont say chevy on it only cummins or like a rcok powered by cummins. and atleast this thread is stayingcivil.

Imagine that, coming on a website all about CTD s and hearing some Ford bashing. I know on all the Ford sites they only have kind gentle and loving words about our trucks

well never said they did im just kinda sick and tired of the bashing bs that goes on. i know of and have seen dodge and fords that run hard and then i have seen junk of all three. it just seems like everytime it comes up its the same ole bs and it gets old quick. and i know im not perfect buti try to constrain myself to the " my truck will honk your truck," only if it comes down to it or if im joking. i know that a newer ford or dodge and even chevy should be able to stomp my truck. and i know that it will beat some. andi kinda figured for adults we could get over it but i forgot it is a CTD site JK.

just wish everyone could get along and not have to bash. but thats my opinion. and i heard a really sweet noise today. my brothers ford powered by cummins wanted to start and ran on ether today. now i bet you all would agree that would be a ford you would own. A 12v cummins in a early ford.

I really dont see it as " bashing" there are Ford guys, Chevy guys, and Dodge guys. I think most of the stuff you see here is good natured. I am a Cummins guy, but if my truck were to break down in the path of a tornado or some other deadly calamity I would let a Ford pull me to safety....Probably
