This is when you know its getting bad ---> I put $31+ in a friggin Toyota Corolla. I remember a little over 1 year ago, I couldn't even put $20 in the thing.

This is going to take a toll. Funny I still see many people in the Montgomery, AL who are hell bent to rush from traffic light to traffic light in their Yukons, Escalades, Hummer 2s, Expeditions, and Avalanches, all while rolling on their bling bling dubs. That's the order of things in this town. First, get a big ole SUV (not knockin' em), then proceed to bling it out. I'm betting the next step for a lot of these folks is to have it repo-ed or sell it because they can't make the payment because they've spent too much on gas and bling.

Also, I went on a trip to FL and back recently. One stop cost me $85.50!! However, I was getting around 13.25 mpg pulling a 24' enclosed trailer.

I'm driving like a granny around town trying to get 40 mpg with my rice-a-roni.

I think you missed the fine print.

it was purchased about a month ago and has been sitting in 5 gallon jugs in the garage.
HA, got me too on that one. I was thinking yesterday, "why would it be THAT much cheaper in VA"?

pfft, i dont even buy gas or diesel in my own state anymore, Illinois is rediculous.

I live 10 miles from indiana, so on my way over to a home depot over there, ill go fill up for 2.15 or 2.20, havent been there in the last week though :/ the prices just took a 15 cent jump in illinois in the last... day

lol, also, i must be cheap cuz I go to another state filling a 50 gallon drum then driving back to my own state with it and using it for 4 months was nice using 1.55 gas when it hit 1.95.

THis is the way it should be in the warm months. Diesel pricing has defied logic this year. It usually drops like a rock in May as gasoline begins to rise. But, the price of crude is so off the hook, that I guess nothing surprises me.

I don't understand why gas here in Denton Texas just this week passed diesel prices. 87 is about $2.39 here. Why was diesel 10 cents more last week and now this week is 10 cents cheaper. What is the logic in that?

You're not seriously looking for "logic" in this are you?

I am throughly confused with the fuel oil impact, Gas is heading out of control here, I put $10.00 in my step dad's F150, that got me a whole 3.9something gallons!

Diesel locally went up 4 cents a gallon to $2.49 last night.
Regular gas is only 7 cents behind.

Well here today tax exempt $2.35, gas $2.48, so now diesel is $.02 cheaper then gas. Its the frist time for several months diesel was any cheaper then gas. And it does this just a few weeks after I get a gas truck.

Diesel is about the same or a little lower than regular gas here. I guess they are preparing to slam us when they claim a shortage because they started producing home heating oil. This seems to start in september.
