FYI about CJ4 Oil
Below is some information that I saw and thought I would post of every one to read. This information came from a person who works with a lot of diesel engines and also does some teaching.
------------------------------------
This is straight from I.H., not sure if it applies to dodges but I'll give you the info anyway. I.H recommends that when using CJ4 oil in pre 2007 engines running LSD instead of ULSD to reduce drain intervals by 50% to prevent engine damage. This was from I.H. not dodge, so I'm not sure if this affects the Cummins, but you powerstroke guys better watch out if you still running the old diesel (off road diesel)

In Issue 54 of TDR Magazine it says that because of such a large demand for CI+4 they will continue to make it until, at least, 2009 just for engines prior to 2007. Anything after 2007 must have CJ-4 as a requirement.
The main issue with this new oil is they reduced the detergency(lowered SA) which in turn will help prevent the DPF from clogging. Sulfated Ash deposits will build up over time supposedly.
If any of you would like to read more check into the Nov/Dec/Jan issue of TDR magazine.
