Fuses Breaking?

I have had 3 fuses, all 40 amp, break. Not blow like you would think a fuse would, but actually break at the part that would melt. These have no signs of heat, they are just broke. I'm pretty sure they just break from vibration.

These are the rectangle plug in fuses called mini female something? They are located under the hood driver's side, fuse box. They are color coded, green, red, orange, pink.

The new ones I replaced them with have a ring that melts instead of a "T" looking thing. The new ones look alot tougher The are not cheap $3.15 each at O'Rileys. So far I've replaced $50 worth, and had to order the 50 amp ones.

Anyone else have this problem? I drive gravel roads alot, lots of wash boards.

What a pain in the @#%#%#@@!
