General Diesel Discussion Talk about general diesel engines (theory, etc.) If it's about diesel, and it doesn't fit anywhere else, then put it right in here.

At the time I owned my 04 f-550 with a 6.oooooohhhnnnnnooooooo. I was honestly considering finding a way to make it "dissapear". I wouldn't even care if a chop shop was involved just wanted it gone. But luckily found someone to buy it!!

The cruise control recall was not on any diesel vehicles, and was not headlamp related. The wire chaffing issues, also had nothing to do with headlamps but more EBP, IAT type sensor harnesses.

I am just glad I dont work for "them" anymore. Remember Ford always circles thier mistakes.LOL Actaully your concern is quite rare, and is an insurance problem. I have honestly never seen or heard of a similar concern such as yours.

But since you bought the truck used, you also have no idea what has been done to it, it may have been wrecked, water damage, etc. Or a previous repair went bad. Who knows?

Good luck
