ford/cummins swap ?

ok i know i have so many ideas about what to do with my truck falling apart around my cummins....now i have had the idea of just finding a 99 or up diesel superduty that has a blown engine or repo or salvage and just dropping in my 12v. what i am wanting to knwo is

1. where do i start looking for a ford truck that is blown or repoed or basically cheap
&
2. about how much head ache am i looking at ie. money wise and swap wise if i go this route i already knowmy first call is going to be to fordcummins.com
