Finally, less than $2

For the first time in what seems forever, I filled up at the Walton KY Flying J for $1.99 / gallon. I wonder if sometime in the future we'll look back and think "what were they bit#*ing about with fuel at $2. I hope not.

Bud

I hope the prices keep comming down. Flying j web site shows their fuel prices and location. I would like to find more web sites that that exact on price and location. There is a wide price gap in some locations.

Try this one http://www.gasbuddy.com/
After you click the state you're interested in, when that page comes up click your state.GasPrices.com, when that page comes up click diesel fuel in the upper left corner.

Just got off a trip from Central IL to Ft worth TX, here in IL it is still around $2.39 per gal but Southern MO and Oklahoma I didn't have any problems findin $2.00 or less per gal. Texas seem to go back up to the $2.39 range. Never had understood the differences in locations.

It's ,mostly due to taxes but sometimes it's transportation costs.

I've seen diesel fluxuate from 92.9 to 98.9 all week. Funny thing is though, one place has been and still is 92.9 cent a litre, where just up the street it's 6 cents more for the same stuff(98.9). CRAZY!

Quick run to TX and back the first of this week.

Diesel
South of Tulsa - $2.08
Oklahoma City - $1.97 (It's sick to be this happy over $2 diesel but I put in $150 worth to fill it up.)
I-44 Turnpike to the TX state line - $2.02
Wichita Falls - $2.19

Wow, crossing that Red River sure drives the price up.

BTW, Unleaded in OKC was $1.88 yesterday.

Quick Reply: Finally, less than $2
