Finally

Well guys I finally broke down and bought my truck. It was more than i expected but I absolutly love it. I bought a 99 3500 extended cab with a 5 speed and this thing is loaded. It has everything in it. cd player leather seats and everything. This was absolutly the most thrilling weekend of my life. I love the thing. I will never go back to GAS NEVER. Thanks for opening my eyes. I have had the privilege of listening to you guys talk on here for about the past year and I have learned so much that it is unbelievable. I really appreciate all the information that I could gather off of this site. It really aided in my decision when it came to actually purchasing. CUMMINS FOREVER BABY!!!!!!!!

YOU KNoW IT.... I really dont know exactly what i am going to do but i am thinking about 370 injectors from Antrim diesel and my buddy up here at school in williamsport is going to sell me his stacks for 60 bucks. The only other thing would be an Edge EZ comp. But I want to maintain the reliability factor because we have a race car and need to be able to get back and forth to the races.

Yes that is williamsport PA and I got to Penn Tech and Honestly this school should be owned by Cummins. My room mate has one and so do about 15 to 20 other people. I think we could start our own TDR chapter right here at school lol. Anyway I have some friends that go to school in state college so if I would venture up there again I will look you up just let me know where to find you.

Dude, 370's are for 12V's (at least as far as I know). Congrats, get a fuel pressure guage, repair your KDP, and check for the #53 block.

wow I didnt know that 370 were for 12 valves thanks for the info. I just talked to my buddy who told me that Antrim diesel in PA would custom make the injectors for me, oh well I just keep learning. Today i visited LAING diesel service in williamsport today. I talked A guy in there who said that he suggested the EDGE Comp box and I have had many people tell me the same thing so I beleive that is what I am going to do. Along with all that information came a brochure for BD transmissions HAHA so I guess he was trying to hint on something . So I beleive that after the box I am going to save for a south bend clutch. My room mate just put his in and absolutly loves the thing. Thanks for all the info just keep the suggestions coming I enjoy learning as much as I can. Thank you again.

FYI, youll need at least a pusher pump and some scotty smart fuel lines or a FASS with a comp box. VP-44 are pretty pricey....
