If I'm running with no trailer, most of the time I will fill at the auto pumps unless the gassers have it blocked up or there are plenty of empty stalls at the big rig pumps. If I've got the 5er in tow, I always use the big rig pumps. There is no sense in me trying to jockey a 30' fifth-wheel into the car island pumps when I can fill my truck, pull ahead, and go in and pay and be out of anyones way in just a few minutes. Just my $.02 ;D

 

I like the flying J truck stops,because they have two sets of diesel pumps with air and water available,for rv's and Light diesl's,the pumps are in front,the nozzles are small and you only encounter the professonal trukers at the fuel desk,some of the professionals would seem more professional if they would shave and shower every week or so.Guess they have to keep moving to make a living.
