Them Megacabs have problems carrying the 810 blizzards. Jerre at Jerres service in Erie. pa was telling me the top of the cab will buckle and your doors wont close. If you did not have Jerre install that blizzard go see him on station road just north of the 90 here is a link to a snowplowing site with the thred.. Mods I hope it is ok to post this http://letstalksnow.com/forums/showt...highlight=mega

Jerre is the one who installed the plow, almost 3years ago.

He installed another plow for me 5 some years ago on another truck.

Putting a plow on anything is obviously going to take it's toll on parts, just like drag racing and sled pulling will.

With that being said, my truck doesn't even know that plow is on there, and I've seen no ill effects from it.

I've read those threads and posts before about certain issues with this and that, and a lot of that seems to get blown out of proportion because of an isolated instance that happened to someone who was plowing with a Megacab.

Most people who I know that plow are reckless with their equipment, and do not care what they break in the process, they are trying to get to the next plow site as fast as they can because they depend on the money. It makes no sense to me, but that's another story.

I don't depend on the money, it's more of something to do to make these winter's go by quicker, and have some extra spending cash.

My truck gets treated with lot's of TLC, and in return treats me very well.

Thanks for the heads up though.

Jerre never warned me of anything...

Nor did I sign any type of waiver.
